Mostly photos. Occasionally waffle.
They are so alien like, but always great subjects! Well done on these photos John! Take care.
Thanks Tammy,They are just so 'weird' looking, but I suppose they probably think the same of us!J
They are beautiful, the eyes are worth it.
They are indeed Bob! Beautiful, but still weird! ;)J
Always fascinated watching their constant head movements. None seen here so far this year.
I have seen a few this year, still no large numbers, which isn't that surprising.J
Great shots John.I've seen a few of these around recently.
Thanks Keith,I think the slightly better weather has brought them out and about. Hopefully the better weather will continue for a bit.J
Nice shots John especially the macro of the head. Yes looks like a female Common Darter to me as well.
Thanks Roy and thank you for the confirmation on the I.D.J
I wonder what it made of you John? Click here for Bazza’s Blog ‘To Discover Ice’
She probably thought, 'What is that weird looking creature?' or something like that! Then again, most things look at me like that anyway! ;)J
Great captures John! The head close up is excellent, they really are fascinating creatures.
Thanks Jan, just got lucky with the sunshine! I can stand and watch them for hours!J
Great macros.
Thanks Gillian :)J
I don't know about you John, but I think that Dragonflies like having their photographs taken for mine like yours seem to be smiling;') happy week~
The darters do seem to 'pose' a lot more than other types, so maybe you're right Mary! ;)J
Great shots, John, and such cute/comical faces, very Disney!
Thanks Omi, just wait a bit and she might start singing! ;)J
