Back in Decmber of 2009 I was lucky enough to go on a trip to the south of Morocco. This was a whirlwind tour of the deserts and mountains organised by Brian `The Natural Stone` Stone. The trip is described in detail by Brian on his blog, but below are some of my photo`s that I have only just got round to sorting out.

Red-billed Chough

African Desert Warbler

Temminck`s Lark

Hoopoe Lark

White-crowned Black Wheatear
All Digiscoped using Lumix FS15 and Kowa TSN-883 x30

  1. Dear John

I'm Moroccan birdwatcher leading the Morocco country programme (MCP) of BirdLife, we're trying to make a sort of information factsheet about the most threatened/remarkable Bird in Morocco and for this we need several photos that we don't have in the BirdLife - MCP database. the factsheets are exclusively for education/awerness purposes and not for sale.
Would you mind if we can use your photo of African Desert Warbler (see my e-mail below)?

Also I would be more grateful if you can sent it with a better resolution

We will of course mention your name and your owenership of the picture.

    Please let me know
