I woke up this morning to a monochromatic winter scape. Though starkly breathtaking in its own way, the rich green and red tones of these photos were better than a cup of coffee to get me going. If I were technically savvy, I'd "smile face" every single one! Thanks for the visual delight John.
What fabulous photographs! I've never seen a waxwing which is particularly annoying when my friend who lives a couple of hundred yards further down the road had a flock resting in the trees at the bottom of her garden a couple of weeks ago! She's jealous of my goldfinches though which are here daily in numbers but she doesn't get them:)
Thank you Rowan, you are too kind! We have been very lucky this year with the huge numbers of Waxwings visiting Britain. They could still be here for a couple of months, so hopefully you will get to see one of these beauties! J
Spectacular photos--the light and the backdrop make an absolutely perfect frame.
ReplyDeleteThankyou Raining Acorns. I know they are all a bit similar, but I just couldn`t decide which ones to post!

Words are not always necessary with lovely photos such as these!

Thanks bazza! I tend to waffle on sometimes, on this occasion I decided to stay quiet.
