Love these John. I can just imagine the sound coming from those mouths too. I love gulls. Always have trouble with some of the ID's, but I still like them. :-)
Thanks Keith! Funnily enough, with the top photo, the gull was just opening its' beak, looked a bit comical! With the others, there was an almighty screech coming from them! Gulls are difficult to I.D., especially with all the different ages to some of the species. I am okay at some, but others, forget about it! J
Hi Bazza! They can swallow quite large food, although sometimes their eyes are bigger than their bellow and they have a bit of difficulty. Thank you, as ever. J
