  5. I like the way they twist their heads to keep their eyes level and turn to look at you as they go by. And you've captured both these behaviours here.

  8. Because an owl's face is quite flat look it has anthropomorphic qualities. They really do look intelligent which is probably where the idea of a 'wise' bird comes from. However, a quick bit of internet research has shown me that they are, in fact, among the least intelligent of birds!
