    Great pictures - find it hard to believe that they can be seen on reserves in Gateshead where I used to work!

      Thanks Stewart! Yes, I still find it amazing how relatively 'common' they are around Peterborough. A great sight though!

    The Red kite is awesome bird! It is very rare here in Finland.

      It certainly is Anu! It used to be very rare here, down to just 5 birds in the whole of the country, but they have been gradually re-introduced and are now thriving!

    I was lucky enough to photo a red kite in Peterborough on Sunday, I'm not sure if you allow anyone to post an image to your site in the comments box?
