Thanks Stewart! They are aggressive little blighters, aren't they!? I have seen scraps break out between 3 or 4 different birds, normally males, as the females look on wondering what all the fuss is about! :) J
Great capture John, I love how you caught the water droplets coming from its beak. It has a bit of an evil look in its eye...probably planning its next squabble ;-)
But it looks quite happy with it :-)

I guess we will be seeing much more of these 'baldy' types over the next month or two John. Punch ups all around.
ReplyDeleteI have already seen a few 'bust-ups' Roy, but, as you say, more will be on the way!

ReplyDeleteThanks Jan,
DeleteYes, there was another Coot in the vicinity, it probably went and picked on that one!

Very nice photograph, especially with the droplets. The coots are so comical. Just love them. There's one in my post as well.
ReplyDeleteThank you Carol and thanks for the visit and the kind comment too. I will endeavour to check out your post soon.
