Mostly photos. Occasionally waffle.
Seeing one kingfisher is great but seeing two is special. Have a great weekend.
Thanks Margaret! I actually saw three! The third was a bit far away for a photo though.J
Great birds - I was fortunate enough to get good views of one on my last trip back to the UK - no pictures though.Cheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
Great birds Stewart! A splash of colour for us Brits not used to the colours of your Australian birds.J
Some very nice pictures of a favourite little bird. One of those birds, like barn owls and red kites, that gets me just as excited no matter how many times I see them.
Thanks John!A bird that is always referred to as 'The' Kingfisher, not 'a'. That's how special they are.J
Fantastic! I am super envious. Been trying to photograph them all summer so far without success. Beautiful shots- you must be thrilled.
Thank you! I am very lucky in the fact that there is a very reliable site locally, where three have been seen on a regular basis.J
