Mostly photos. Occasionally waffle.
great flight shots John.
Thanks Margaret! J
Lovely shot John.I went looking for it the other day and it was nowhere to be seen.
Thanks Roy! It can be remarkably hard to find for such a big white bird! I have been on four occasions and only seen it twice.J
Such a beautiful bird, poise in flight is so elegant, and like their little relatives, the white is the purest white you'll ever see
Somehow more grace than a Grey Heron, or is that just me?J
Oh! How stunning! Just beautiful.
Thanks LeeAnn!J
Nice one John. Been a while since I've seen a GWE.
Thanks Frank! I have been fairly lucky with these as I have seen at least one every year for the past 5 years.J
I frequently see a Little Egret at a local site but don't think I have seen the Great White. Still I have no 'egrets! CLICK HERE for Bazza’s fabulous Blog ‘To Discover Ice’
Little Egrets are a lot more common that the Great White, but GWE now breed in this country and numbers reported are increasing every year, so you never know Bazza, you may see one, one day!J
Thanks German! And 'Thanks' for the 'Follow' all the way from Spain.J
Wonderful shot, John! They are such graceful birds!
Thanks Liz!J
